Background Information

Mercy Kamau is a final-year student at the University of Nairobi, Faculty of Law. A passionate legal researcher, she has an impressive record of participation in both national and international moot court competitions, including the Daystar–UoN Moot Court Competition, the FOLLAP National Moot Court Competition, the Leiden University International Children's Rights Moot Court Competition, the FIS IHL Moot Court Competition, and the Jean Pictet International Humanitarian Law Moot Court Competition. Beyond her moot court achievements, Mercy has been an active member of the Kenya Model United Nations, excelling as both a delegate and a bureau member of the General Assembly. She has also served as an Assistant Director in the Harvard National Model United Nations (Africa) within the African Union Committee.
